Description

We offer natural linden blossom hydrolate for animals, obtained from the plant Tilia Cordata. Outside the Bulgarian market, it is known as Linden Blossom Natural Hydrolat. The flowers of the tree are used for extraction, together with the tongue-shaped membranous bracts fused to their stalks. The inflorescence takes the form of a cyme, and insects carry the pollen from flower to flower within the plantation. Extraction is carried out with steam, which accounts for the purity of the aroma that stays close to the original floral material. The color ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish, while the consistency remains liquid, clear and homogeneous. The strength of the scent remains mild. Spicy, floral and herbal sides are noticeable in the scent profile. The volatile fraction of the floral raw material contains nerol, limonene, farnesol, citronellol and terpineol, and this combination gives the scent its multilayered character in the finished distillate. The botanical family of the species bears the name Tiliaceae. The floral raw material comes from plantations in Bulgaria, where the trees grow naturally without artificial intervention. Since cultivation takes place without artificial agents, the composition remains natural and accepts no preservatives or colorants. High moisture in the harvested floral mass accelerates the breakdown of the aromatic substances, so the condition of the raw material directly affects the strength of the finished scent. The light tone of the liquid comes from the floral part used, and the purity of the scent comes from the steam method of extraction. Along with its soft aroma, the liquid also retains the connection with its source, because the linden blossom passes on both its color and its character to the distillate.

Application

Linden blossom hydrolate, obtained by steam distillation of the flowers of the Tilia linden tree, is used in the care of the coat and skin of pets, helping to maintain a healthy and shiny appearance. It is incorporated into solutions for cleaning paws after walks, into products for refreshing the coat between baths and into products for softening rough or matted coats. The ingredient is also used in lotions for soothing the skin in case of mild redness, as well as in sprays for reducing unpleasant odors. The hydrolate is also used in preparing the coat before brushing, in care products after veterinary procedures and in products intended for moisturizing the skin during seasonal shedding. It is also suitable for incorporation into soothing products after contact with insects or external irritants, maintaining skin comfort through different seasons.

Storage

Store natural linden blossom hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 to 12 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for animal products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for animals from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
